Is Lifecoaching the same as counselling?

Although it shares similar principles Life Coaching is not the same as counselling.

Life Coaching is action driven and solution focused whilst Counselling is primarily focusing on the emotional responses to an experience.

Having a certification in counselling skills Leanne does bring aspects of the counselling model within the sessions of Life Coaching.

Are the Sessions confidential?

Yes. All sessions are confidential. Leanne follows Safeguarding Protocols, however, so if it is felt that there is an immediate risk of harm to yourself or another Leanne will report this matter on to an appropriate body.
